Economic impact analysis examines how markets and the broader economy react to changes in public policy and investments. For markets, impacts might include changes in prices, capacity additions or retirements, or the fundamentals of supply and demand. For the broader economy, impacts might include job creation or losses, and changes in GDP, household income, and demographics.

- Design of interventions to remove market failures and improve project bankability, including financing and subsidy mechanisms such as Output Based Aid (OBA).
- Project transaction advisory support for governments and the private sector, including feasibility assessments, structuring and financing. Development of key knowledge/ reference products on a range of infrastructure and municipal finance issues.
